.30 calibre, manufactured by National Postal Meter one of the rarer M1 carbines, in original condition (not re-furbished or “done up”). A rare rifle in original condition, cocking arm functions under spring tension, trigger moves under spring tension, safety catch moves, mag can be removed, adjustable rear sight. Serial number 4,327,468.

National Postal Meter manufactured 6.8% of all M1 carbines, total quantity 413,017.

Serial numbers 4,080,000 to 4,432,099 manufactured between Dec ’43 and May ’44.
